Best Adaptation Movies of Literary Works

Since cinema has placed in our lives, most of the screenwriter influenced by books while they are writing their movie. Sometimes, they carry the most literary work to the cinema and meet them with the audience. Some think that kills the reading rate, some think it is very important to give them life. It has been a discussion topic all the time. While some people are happy to see their best book at the cinema, others have disappointed to see them at the cinema as different from their head. 


World classic literature works are the ones who have the discussion all the time. Apart from the discussion, today I want to share with you the best adaptation of literary works to the cinema.


1. THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST (2002)

Good casting, well-adapted scenario and perfect place choosing...
One of the best plays of Oscar Wilde. I choose this movie to show you because of the jokes and witty sentences are barely changed by the original. So this makes the movie more likeable. 😍
2. VANITY FAIR (2004)

Well, if you read the book, the movie version could be quite short. You will have a trip to the life of a woman, who tries to survive, Becky Sharp. It is a nice novel to check some literary aspects. I recommend you to read it or watch.  😉

3. PRIDE and PREJUDICE (2005)

4. GREAT EXPECTATIONS (2012)

Maybe some of you have a description phobia because of Dickens' works but don't be afraid. Spoiler alert, the plot is well edited. 🤗

Be ready for rich men's world. You can see a modern adaptation of your favourite book. Characters, clothing, casting, places and music... Every detail is thought for Gatsby in the modern world. 🤑

7. THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (1996)

Oh my dear God! How can an animation have great success? If you have read "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", you will love this adaptation. It has a realistic overview of Paris and Notre Dame. The cathedral has a lot of things to say to you. 👀

8.  LORD OF THE FLİES (1990)

"Lord of the Flies" is also one of the world classics.  If you know to read letters, I mean textual analysis, you will like to movie a lot. Inside the story, there are some lessons for life. Your age is doesn't matter for this lesson because these children are symbolizing a thing for humankind. It is an old movie, however; the plot make you watch the movie.  🤓

10. THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991)

Some of you can react like is it a book!! Yes, It is a book. Moreover, it is a best seller book. The name of "The Silence of The Lambs" have heard by many people and became one of the cult movies. It has to be so. First of all, you will see well-edited plot. Then good acting.  It is a really good movie in the genre of the trailer. You can even believe there is Hannibal. 🤐

Bir önceki yazımdan sonra neden size bir dizi önerisi de hazırlamıyorum diye düşünüp size bir dizi önerisi hazırladım. Netflix'in hayatımıza girmesiyle birlikte gerek dünyayı gerek ülkemizi etkisi altına alan, global olarak bir popüleriteye sahip bir dizi var; La Casa de Papel.  Bu diziyi izlemeyen olabilir ama duymayan yok. Diziden sonra İspanyolca ve dizilere olan ilgide bir artış oldu. Öyle ki Netflix bile ardı ardına orijinal İspanyolca diziler yapmaya başladı. La Casa de Papel derken hayatımıza  Elite , La Casa de Flores gibi diziler girdi. Bu dizilerin yanı sıra adını belki de hiç duymadığınız ama en az bu diziler kadar iyi ve iddialı birçok İspanyolca dizi mevcut. İnternet İspanyolca dizi kaynağında biraz kıt olduğundan sizlerle bugün, Netflix'te kolaylıkla bulabileceğiniz izlemenizi şiddetle tavsiye ettiğim dizileri paylaşacağım. Capitoline Wolf (The Roman She-Wolf)

The Roman she-wolf the statue is demonstrating a scene from the legend of the founding of Rome.  Of course, there is more than one legend about twin brothers and Capitoline wolf. According to one;  Romulus and Remus are twin brother who ordered to their death into the Tiber River by their grandfather’s brother. They were saved by a she-wolf who take cared for them until a herdsman, found and raised them. When they had grown up, they turned back to grandfather’s city to take back the city. They took over the city, however; Romulus killed his brother Remus to own the city and named himself to the city.     It is said that this statue actually was only a she-wolf statue. Then in the time of Renaissance, they added the twin brothers Romulus and Remus. For years, the statue symbolizes a gift from Mussolini like an appreciation who sees him as the founder of “New Rome”. Kendi damak zevkime ve bu zamana kadarki gördüklerim ve bildiklerimle beraber size aperitif hazırlama konusunda kısa bir tavsiye yazısı hazırladım. 1- Bira 🍻 Severek tükettiğiniz bir alkolse yanındakiler sizin için önemli olmayacaktır. Çoğu atıştırmalıkla tüketilen bira için size tavsiyem daha tuzlu şeyler.
