Briefly; Aegean Region


Hi my beloved readers! I hope you are all well during this critical situation.
Today I would like to talk about a little bit my region my city and my favorite food. I live in Aegean region of Tukey. This region like other parts of Turkey, have welcomed many civilizations for example; Crete, Greek, Ionia, Roman, Turks... All these civilization left a part from their own the region and it makes the culture what it has nowadays.

Ephesus

Aegean region has very calm climate even hot. It lives for season but you can not see snow in here. The geography is adorable. You can find forest, mountain, sea, river, garden. Agriculture is highly developed in this region. Primary agricultural produces are; olive, grape, fig, tobacco, cotton any kind of vegetable and fruit.

Because of the diversity of agricultural produces, it has diversity of cuisine. Aegean cuisine is my favorite obviously. It is close to Mediterranean cuisine but more healthy and more green way. You can find every tone of green in your plate because every green thing is eatable in here. Once my primary school teacher ate wild thorn while we were in school picnic.

Anyway. It is so popular go for picnic with friends and family. You can make picnic near by the see or under the olive trees or at your balcony. Balcony has highly importancy for Aegean people. I dont know maybe it is because other civilizations effect but every house in this region has balcony. Moreover it is a classic that you have a little garden at least one grape or wisteria sinensis.

Why I have mentioned grape to much? Because we take a lot of advantage of it. Fisrtly, it is fruit. Secondly we produce wine and vinegar from it. Lastly and most delicious one; we make food from it. It is my favorite food which name is sama. Maybe you have heard of it. Because its comman in Balkan countries, Grecee an Turkey. In Aegean region, we make sarma with grape leafs. There is a inner ingridients for make grape leafs tasty. Rice, spices, dill, parsley and tomata souse (a little bit). You can diversfy the ingridients according  you will. I almost forgot to say, you need to add olive oil :) As a bonus a lemon.
